I just need a bookkeeper, do you do that?
Yes, bookkeeping is the cornerstone of a good financial tracking system, so we feel it is important to offer this vital service. With proper bookkeeping, you will receive feedback on your finances and profitability that can help tremendously in your business decision making and so you can make more money. We have a team of bookkeepers that can keep your books up to date.
Do you do payroll?
Yes, this is another vital aspect of your business, and we maintain an in-house payroll company “Priority Payroll” to ensure that your payroll is accurate, your payroll taxes are paid on time and your payroll tax forms are completed and filed on a timely basis. Most business owners find payroll to be a major headache, and outsourcing payroll to us is a very cost effective alternative.
I am just starting my company. I want to do a lot of this myself. Can you help me set things up?
Business owners need professional assistance right from the start. We frequently see new companies with limited resources that want to do as much as possible in-house until they are making enough money to outsource the bookkeeping. What they need is a setup on how to do this work, a nudge in the right direction and a bit of coaching now and again. With that in mind, we have developed an affordable package of services called the "Startup Essentials Package" designed for the new company, which gives you all you need to get started properly.
I have very specific accounting needs. How do I know you’re qualified to help me?
We have clients in a variety of industries, some with very unique requirements. Chances are good that we can help you. The best way to learn more about what we can do for you is to take advantage of our free one hour no obligation consultation. Let us know what's special about your business, and we'll let you know how we can help.
How do I know if my current CPA is doing his job?
You may not know unless you get a second opinion. Come in for a free hour consultation and we'll give you our perspective. We are happy to share our methods and philosophy and discuss your particular situation so that you can make an informed decision about the service level you are currently receiving.
I am not using Quickbooks or a computerized system now. Can you still help me?
Yes, we have an excellent in-house bookkeeping staff and professional computer systems. Simply provide us with details of your income and expense transactions, bank statements and credit card statements, and we will keep your books up to date. We'll provide you with monthly financial reports and our commentary on your financial results so you always know how your business is doing, and actions you may take to improve performance or limit business risk.
Would you be able to save me money on my taxes?
The best time to reduce your taxes is before the close of the year. It is very difficult to save taxes once the tax year has closed. We work with our clients all year long, constantly making adjustments and employing strategies throughout the year to minimize taxes. By doing so, you will have a good idea of what your tax bill will look like before the tax return is even completed. Also, we have seen many instances where an accountant prior to us has missed tax saving opportunities. If you would like a second opinion on your situation, feel free to contact us.
My business is too small for an accountant. I have a "Mom & Pop" small business and I am not sure I need your services.
Why would your services be important for me?
How can you help?
We specialize in helping small businesses, just like yours. It's important to have an experienced business accountant on your team as your business grows, for a number of good reasons. The tax dollars that you could save with the advice of an experienced accountant could be reinvested back into your business, helping your business grow even faster. Our experience with many companies provides you with a knowledge base that may not otherwise be available to you. Most importantly, by leaving the back office bookkeeping, tax and reporting deadlines to us, you will have more time to do what you do best: making the cash register ring.
I already have an accountant. Why should I switch?
We have many clients who have switched to our service. The reasons they give for leaving their accountant include poor or inconsistent service, hard to reach or not responsive, or high prices and "nickel and diming" on fees. If you are having these or other problems with your current accountant, let's discuss your situation.
How much does it cost?
We have customized service packages to meet the budget of any small business, from startup through established companies. You can choose the services and budget that best fits your needs. The cost is on a sliding scale, based on the size of your businesses. Please contact us for more information.
